In this policy below , “us”, “we”, or “our” means Gift Engraving ,the owner / operator of this website.

Gift Engraving will compensate you for the value of the product purchased from us where there are defects caused by us or defective goods supplied by us within 14 days of receipt provided original invoices and packaging are produced.

Goods engraved in accordance with customer specifications or clearly tailored to the personal requirements of the customer are non-returnable. 

By proceeding with your order you grant Gift Engraving artistic license to engrave your item how we see best suits the product, the material that the product is made from, and the sentiment involved. We strive to keep your best interest at heart at all times and follow your instructions from the order form. Special requests can be discussed and made via the comment section on the order form.

We cannot be held liable for errors that are the result of incorrect instructions, spelling, or specifications supplied by the customer. We take a photo of each item engraved before dispatch to ensure quality and to have a record that the item has left our premises in good order. 

Please initially contact us via phone under “Contact Us” to discuss the reason for your return.

After initial consultation please contact us via email at info@giftengraving.com.au and provide us with your name, order number, and written reason for return or exchange.

 After phone and email discussion, when instructed please send the items along with all details discussed to the following returns address and keep the tracking number and email receipts for any potential queries.

Please note that articles must be returned to us with their complete original packaging. This should protect the goods to be returned against damage during transport.

We will credit the amount to your bank credit card or PayPal account that you used for the original order once we have received the defective item. Postal returns can take several days so please be patient as we work through the returns process.

Should an item be wrongly selected e.g. wrong size or colour, the model before engraving commences Gift Engraving will endeavor to work with you to find a happy outcome for both parties. This may include offering an alternate item. Should an alternate item be negotiated Credit will be adjusted to compensate for any difference in pricing between the original purchase and the replacement item. 

Please ensure that goods are packaged well for their return journey as we reserve the right to not issue a refund should the goods be damaged on receipt on our end. Please note all postage costs are not refundable. 

Any product that is engraved will automatically be voided of its original manufacturing warranty, Gift Engraving does not supply a warranty on products that are engraved. The consumer purchases engraving at their own risk.
